Beschreibung

• Report to the Aftermarket & Plant Solutions Manager • Develop and maintain relationships with principal manufacturers, engineers, contractors, and end-users within the defined territory • Work with other associates to ensure customer satisfaction from project inception to installation and beyond • Perform problem analysis, product application assessment, product selection, design/application development assistance, specification recommendations, estimating, scope development, bidding, and startup and commissioning overview • Analyze competition in the territory and devise sales strategies • Assist in annual business planning and communicate sales strategy to management • Strategize opportunities to optimize buy-resale for customers and principal manufacturers while assessing risk and reward • Continually improve sales skills and product knowledge • Foster strategic partnerships with engineers, owners, contractors, and other key stakeholders • Identify future capital improvement and engineered sales opportunities and communicate them to appropriate departments • Represent Ferguson Process Solutions at industry events and organizations • Promote other Ferguson offerings within Process Solutions • Travel with principal manufacturer partners to identify opportunities and provide technical solutions • Build relationships with plant operators, maintenance personnel, and utility leadership

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5+ years of water and wastewater industry related experience • 5+ years of technical sales experience • Strong technical background and experience in water and wastewater • Wastewater licenses or drinking water licenses preferred • BS/AS degree, technical training, industry certifications, or equivalent industry experience preferred • Experience with pumps, pumping systems, and related mechanical equipment preferred • Committee and board member roles with industry associations are a plus • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills • Problem solving, leadership, and listening skills • General digital literacy • Self-motivated; ability to multi-task and learn quickly • Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner, build relationships, and work in a team environment
