Beschreibung

• Build customer orders promptly and accurately • Receive direction on assigned orders • Physically lift product cases and stack them on pallets • Select customer pallets while operating powered equipment, including double electric pallet jacks • Relocate product cases from pallet to pallet • Maintain competitive average throughput • Maintain aggressive quality and accuracy standards • Deploy and travel out of state within a 24-hour notice period • Work mandatory overtime and holiday shifts, typically 6–7 days per week and 10+ hours per day • Promote and practice FHI’s value of safety always • Handle 50 to 200+ pallets on any given day in varying warehouse temperatures

🎯 Anforderungen

• Candidates must be available to deploy and travel out of state within a 24-hour notice period • At least one year of experience in a warehouse environment as a selector operating powered equipment • Experience with electric pallet jacks and forklifts, including reach, clamp, and cherry pickers • Ability to understand order selection, container stacking, and product movement within a warehouse-distribution facility • Ability to hand select orders in dry, cooler, and freezer environments with fluctuating temperatures • Ability to commit to a minimum of 6–8 weeks on every assignment • Steel or composite toe safety shoes required • Basic math skills • Ability to read, write, and speak English • Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds in moderate to loud work environments • Ability to work safely in a constant state of alertness • Ability to work in temperatures from -20 degrees to 110 degrees while wearing required protective equipment • Ability to lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, and squat for most of the workday • Ability to handle cases weighing 25 to 80 pounds • Prior warehouse associate experience preferred • Relevant experience such as landscaping, construction, roofing, or roadwork may be considered
