Beschreibung

• Lead accounting across loan-related products, including Figure Connect and tokenized financial products • Own the month-end close across loan accounting • Prepare reporting on close status, open items, and risk areas for the Controller, escalating issues with recommended solutions • Oversee accounting for loan origination, servicing, and sales • Ensure financial statements and loan positions are accurate, complete, timely, supported, and audit-ready • Design scalable accounting frameworks and policies • Partner with Technical Accounting on policies and controls for audit and regulatory scrutiny • Support new product launches by defining the accounting lifecycle and downstream processes • Identify risks and opportunities in accounting infrastructure and develop remediation roadmaps • Serve as primary accounting liaison to Product and Engineering for new product launches and ledger integration • Manage and grow a high-performing accounting team • Investigate and resolve reconciliation variances using large, complex data sets and root-cause analysis • Work with Internal Controls on SOX control design, documentation, monitoring, effectiveness, and audit readiness

🎯 Anforderungen

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a people management role, ideally in fintech, loan accounting, or a high-growth environment • Deep knowledge of GAAP financial reporting, loan accounting, and reconciliation management at scale • Experience designing and improving accounting systems and workflows • Ability to analyze large data sets and resolve complex reconciliation variances • Experience with SOX compliance and maintaining controls in a public company or pre-IPO environment • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including reporting financial status and risk to Controllers, CFOs, or equivalent management • Experience collaborating directly with Product and Engineering teams and translating accounting requirements into system and operational design • Exposure to digital assets, crypto, or blockchain-based systems preferred but not required • Adherence to company security policies and data handling procedures • Completion of mandatory security awareness training within required timeframes • Prompt reporting of suspected security incidents or suspicious activity to the Security team • Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States • Figure will not sponsor work visas
