Beschreibung

• Provide expertise to the back end development team by efficiently and productively: • Developing web based applications using technologies such as NodeJS, Webpack, Firebase, ElasticSearch, GCP • Performing day to day maintenance and support of all existing applications in use at Outlaw • Preserving and optimizing the quality of the software • Innovating and improving on the software, features, processes, and technology • Query and manipulate data (troubleshoot, reports, migrations, ...) • API integration and maintenance. (Proprietary Open API, third-party APIs) • Performing detailed code reviews • Work within the assigned team to complete duties as assigned, while mentoring and reviewing more junior engineers. • Be part of an on-call rotation with other team members to provide escalated emergency support • Communicate frequently, clearly, and effectively with various technical and management audiences

🎯 Anforderungen

• 7+ years Node.js backend development experience • Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills • PostgreSQL database design and optimization • RESTful API design and implementation • Experience with cloud platforms (GCP strongly preferred) • Express.js or similar web framework • Docker and containerization • Authentication and authorization patterns • Elasticsearch experience (strongly preferred) • Microservices architecture (strongly preferred) • Message queue experience (strongly preferred) • Performance optimization expertise (strongly preferred) • Security best practices (strongly preferred) • AI/ML API integration (OpenAI, Anthropic) (strongly preferred) • Cloud Functions/serverless experience (strongly preferred) • Third-party API integration experience (strongly preferred) • Background job processing (strongly preferred) • B.S. in computer science, information systems, a related field; comparable certifications; or equivalent direct work experience
