Beschreibung

• Design, build, and maintain applications using Python and Django • Work across the full stack, including front-end components using React, JavaScript, and CSS • Translate business and user needs into practical technical solutions • Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability • Contribute to code reviews and engineering best practices • Write testable, maintainable code with appropriate unit tests • Support live applications and troubleshoot complex issues • Collaborate with business stakeholders and occasionally with clients • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps • Report to the Software Engineering Manager • Help shape insurance fintech products used across the UK insurance market

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5+ years' experience with Python • Experience with API integrations • Strong SQL skills, including MySQL or PostgreSQL • Solid front-end fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Angular • Good understanding of software design principles and best practices • Django experience advantageous • API design and development advantageous • Test-driven development advantageous • Experience with front-end frameworks such as React and Angular advantageous • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines advantageous • Comfortable working in a small team and wearing multiple hats • Proactive, curious, and keen to keep learning • Comfortable and confident communicating technical ideas clearly to non-technical people • Confident in abilities and willing to challenge ways of working • Must already have unrestricted legal right to work in the UK without future sponsorship
