Beschreibung

• Lead business development activities in Iowa • Provide direct business and financial planning, consultation, training, and support to early care and education providers • Promote FCF and its programs and services • Support fund development activities • Connect with FCF stakeholders, partners, and constituents • Work with the Iowa State Director to develop, promote, and implement statewide programs and achieve program goals and contract deliverables • Build and maintain partnerships with regional early care and education stakeholders and public and private funders • Train and consult with childcare business owners, communities, and external partners • Manage program activity scheduling and task distribution across the Iowa Team • Manage implementation of rural community programs • Engage state partners regarding childcare policy implementation, impact, training, and capacity-building processes • Develop and update trainings and tools for childcare business owners with the Iowa Director and Chief Program Officer • Input, manage, and analyze external childcare-supply data and internal program data • Supervise, train, mentor, and provide ongoing supervision to Business Development Specialists • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience • 5 years of consulting, training, and public speaking experience • 2 years of community development or engagement experience • 2 years of supervisory experience • Experience working with small businesses in low- to moderate-income diverse communities • Some experience with early education or childcare • Ability to provide business and financial consultation and training • Ability to read, interpret, and analyze financial statements and develop and manage budgets • Ability to think strategically, plan regionally, and implement plans on the ground • Ability to promote a positive image of FCF and position FCF as a key resource in early care and education • Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively with diverse staff, customers, partners, and stakeholders • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Ability to work with minimum supervision while being part of a team • Systems-thinking ability with attention to detail • Openness to learning and accepting positive and constructive feedback • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently • Must be able to work on a computer for extended periods • Ability to travel when needed • Must be based in Iowa • Direct childcare experience preferred • Experience in resource development and/or fundraising preferred • Experience in private-sector engagement and partnership preferred • Public-speaking experience preferred
