Beschreibung

• Oversee and manage all aspects of maintenance control operations for Thrive Aviation’s fleet • Ensure Maintenance Control operates within company policies, work rules, and regulatory requirements • Monitor and ensure compliance with aircraft maintenance regulations • Coach, counsel, and guide Maintenance Controllers • Ensure proper paperwork is provided and filed for component overhauls, aircraft communication/navigation equipment certifications, and associated components • Ensure proper execution of Airworthiness Releases • Sign for accomplishment of work on applicable work forms and records • Process regulatory paperwork • Create and maintain maintenance operations budgets • Delegate assigned work and manage projects efficiently • Communicate maintenance updates and address concerns with staff and management • Make critical decisions to ensure fleet safety and airworthiness • Foster a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement • Keep the Assistant Director of Maintenance briefed on aircraft status • Perform other duties assigned by management • Some travel may be required

🎯 Anforderungen

• Current A&P License required • Bachelor's degree in aviation management or related field; OR 7-10 years of Aircraft Maintenance and Inspection experience with a Part 135 operator • 5 years in supervisor or management position • Expert level knowledge of FAA regulations as it pertains to aircraft maintenance • Strong leadership with extensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance and regulatory requirements • Advanced skills and knowledge of aircraft parts management • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office and applicable suite of products • Fluency and knowledge of applicable industry specific-software tools, including Flexx, Traxxall, CAMP, and Corridor are highly preferred • Working knowledge of OSHA and company requirements • Knowledge of safe working techniques and procedures • Ability to plan and schedule maintenance work requirements and direct skilled technicians • Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills • Effective leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to supervise a team • In-depth knowledge of flight line operations, aircraft/vehicle movement, and safety/hazards • Advanced knowledge of aircraft common and special tools and test equipment, technical orders/job guides/publications, schematic diagrams, drawings, charts and technical publications, aircraft engine, landing gear, and flight control systems • Ability to meet stated physical requirements, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, crouching, crawling, reaching, and climbing stairs
