Beschreibung

• Perform plant thermal-hydraulic stability analyses, plant noise analyses, PRNM stability interface, and other safety analyses • Take responsibility for fuel project activities including reload analyses, Stability methods implementation, new fuel design and introduction, and safety analysis support for emergent fuel issues • Engage with interfacing teams responsible for mechanical design, core design, licensing, systems design, or other affiliated organizations • Effectively communicate and coordinate activities with internal and external project managers, technical personnel, and customers • Prepare, document and present technical data to internal/external customers • Provide technical mentoring to support Stability Analysis staff development • Develop/deliver training course offerings in support of external commercial requests, as well as for internal audiences • Contribute to team process improvements

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical, or similar) • Minimum 5 years of experience in plant T-H Stability Safety Analysis and Methods • Experience in BWR Plant T-H Stability analyses, plant noise analyses, PRNM stability interface • Ph.D. and/or M.S. Degree in Nuclear Engineering with experience in T-H modeling as applied to nuclear reactor systems • Experience with BWR technology and BWR Stability analysis • Knowledge of plant operational support in the Stability area • Knowledge of reactor licensing requirements • Experience with BWR simulator and use of 3-D neutron kinetics (e.g., PANAC) • Experience with BWR/PWR T/H systems codes such as TRACG, RELAP, & TRACE • Programming experience such as C#, FORTRAN, or PYTHON
