Beschreibung

• Advise utility customers on the impacts of distributed energy resources on distribution systems • Provide solutions for managing and planning increased distributed energy resources • Collaborate with Solution Architects on solution architecture based on customer needs and capabilities • Define success criteria and author solution diagrams • Deploy Opus One solutions to client environments for project use cases and DER planning scenarios • Outline project goals, objectives, requirements, and technical functionality • Design, diagram, and document solutions for customer requirements and use cases • Facilitate client workshops covering functional and non-functional requirements • Document customer-specific solution requirements, acceptance criteria, and necessary features • Define user acceptance testing processes, test cases, and progress metrics • Standardize internal and external processes, expectations, and deliverables across projects with Project Managers • Create business cases and product requirements based on customer processes and policies • Expand the solution consulting and delivery practice with the Solutions team • Develop user acceptance documentation and training modules using internal software demonstrations • Train utility customers and end users on GridOS • Identify project delivery risks and recommend mitigation strategies • Support sales activities with technical demonstrations and identification of potential upsell opportunities

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a similar program, focused on power systems, or relevant experience • Experience automating processes and utilizing or building scripting solutions • Familiarity with emerging energy trends and utility implications in DER management, distribution planning, IT, SCADA, and asset management • Strong background in Excel analysis, PowerPoint, and Visio • Ability to meet project deadlines with strong quality focus • Ability to collaborate effectively • Ability to analyze approaches and processes and configure solutions to customer needs • Ability to analyze complex problems and determine appropriate specificity • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to explain complex technical topics to varied audiences • Curiosity and lifelong-learning mindset • Customer-focused approach and ability to create detailed user stories • Interest in new tools and technology and ability to learn software quickly • Preferred: VBA or Python scripting experience • Preferred: Master's degree • Preferred: familiarity with cloud-based solutions and deployment • Preferred: utility integration experience such as SCADA, ADMS, OT, or OMS • Preferred: experience with power system analysis software such as OpenDSS, CYME, PowerFactory, or Synergi
