Beschreibung

• Own or significantly contribute to the technical resolution of multiple complex steam turbine issues • Mentor and train others in areas of expertise and experience • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among engineering, design, commercial, manufacturing, suppliers, and other teams • Develop and implement technical solutions to meet customer needs • Lead and present at technical conferences and customer-facing events • Lead cross-functional Root Cause Analysis teams for GE equipment non-conformances • Lead initiatives to improve starting reliability, availability, and trip reduction • Provide technical support for new unit installation, startup, outage work scopes, and critical issues • Author and coach others in creating internal and external communications, including TILS, ETC, and customer presentations • Communicate fleet and product issues into the NPI process and GE leadership to identify opportunities and drive effective offerings • Participate in global product service meetings to grow expertise and strengthen the global team's expertise

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college • 5+ years experience in Steam Turbine field installation/maintenance or similar • Strong communication skills in English • This role requires travelling around 20% of the time within and outside of the region • Demonstrated expertise in steam turbine design, installation and/or maintenance • Self-starter with initiative and interpersonal skills to direct projects and work of cross-functional nature, with demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion • Ability to work well with teams and communicate requests and requirements clearly • Ability to develop relationships across the organization to build loyalty and commitment • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills • Demonstrated project management skills • Able to interface effectively with all levels of an organization and demonstrated leadership to pursue correct engineering actions in adverse conditions or situations • Understands business objectives and drives specific tasks required to meet the objectives
