• Serve as primary customer interface for warranty claims • Manage the warranty claim lifecycle for covered equipment, including gas and steam turbines, generators, MSD, HRSG, and plant BOP • Liaise between customers, Functions, and Business Lines to drive claim resolution • Implement the Global Warranty Governance Framework for assigned sites • Conduct initial investigations to validate technical and contractual warranty claim validity • Assess repair-versus-replacement decisions based on technical feasibility, cost, schedule impact, and contractual obligations • Review and interpret design specifications, installation records, operational data, and maintenance logs • Coordinate with Legal, Contract Management, and Global Warranty teams • Plan warranty execution and support punch list closure, including parts, resources, and tooling • Support customer discussions regarding claim planning, execution, and resolution • Establish and monitor warranty cost controls, estimates, budgets, forecasts, cost recovery, and productivity • Coordinate financial reviews and management approvals • Monitor and report warranty spend against budget, escalating risks and variance drivers • Support root cause analysis to determine failure modes and accountability • Identify recurring defect trends and communicate findings to Engineering and Product teams • Conduct weekly warranty meetings with customers and internal stakeholders • Maintain a comprehensive warranty log of open, closed, and disputed claims • Prepare and present warranty status reports, dashboards, and metrics • Document warranty records, correspondence, and decisions according to company standards and contracts • Identify and support productivity and process improvement initiatives • Collaborate with Global and Pole Warranty teams to implement best practices and standardize processes • Apply Lean principles to improve workflows and operational discipline • Support training for Warranty Engineers, CPMs, and process stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) from an accredited university or college OR a High School Diploma / GED and 10 years of experience in the power generation industry • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Minimum 3 years of experience in the Power Generation Industry, preferably in services, quality, warranty or field operations • Strong technical knowledge of heavy-duty power generation equipment, including gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, BOP systems, and HRSG • Ability to manage costs, forecasts, schedules and resources • Ability to cooperate with and influence customers and internal stakeholders • Ability to manage difficult conversations and maintain professional relationships under pressure • Ability to travel to domestic and international destinations to attend customer sites or GE facilities • Field experience with gas/steam turbines, generators, or other heavy-duty power generation equipment • Familiarity with field service execution, including labor, tooling, and third-party vendor management • Warranty management background and strong commercial acumen • Experience reading and interpreting commercial/technical contracts and warranty provisions • Ability to perform or coordinate root cause analysis and failure mode investigations • Highly collaborative approach and demonstrated ability to drive change • Ability to influence customers and internal stakeholders without direct authority • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a global, matrixed organization • Ability to make data-driven decisions in ambiguous and fast-paced environments • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize under pressure • Use of AI-based tools to enhance productivity • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
