Beschreibung

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for environmental health applications • Identify, document, and track defects with clear steps to reproduce • Verify solutions across different scenarios and edge cases • Test workflows for inspections, permits, complaints, and reporting • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes • Advocate for real public health users during testing • Participate in requirements reviews to identify potential issues early • Contribute to improving QA processes and testing standards • Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not break existing functionality • Participate in quarterly Program Increment planning sessions • Work in two-week sprints with daily standups, backlog refinement, and sprint retrospectives • Test features continuously and provide rapid feedback to development teams • Work closely with developers, solutions analysts, and architects within an Agile Release Train following SAFe principles

🎯 Anforderungen

• 1+ years working for a governmental public health agency (local, state, federal, or tribal) • Experience with environmental health programs, including inspections, permitting, complaints, or similar • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking • Ability to clearly document issues and communicate findings • Self-motivated with strong initiative • Comfort working with AI tools and technology platforms • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship • Willingness to adhere to the no-drug workplace policy • Must agree to undergo eVerify for employment status at hiring • Experience with software testing or QA (formal or informal) preferred • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar platforms preferred • Understanding of test management tools such as Jira or TestRail preferred • Experience with Agile or SAFe methodology preferred • Background in environmental health data systems or reporting requirements preferred • Knowledge of API testing or automated testing concepts preferred
