Beschreibung

• Develop tooling for Grafana Cloud integrations and observability apps • Develop, maintain, and scale infrastructure observability features in Grafana Cloud • Ship features end to end across the UI, backend services, dashboards, and alerts • Work across TypeScript/React frontend, Golang backend, and Jsonnet monitoring mixins • Own projects from problem statement through production, including talking to users and validating shipped work • Write design proposals, run demos, and advocate for the team’s roadmap in cross-team discussions • Contribute upstream to Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana Alloy • Join the on-call rotation for owned services • Collaborate remotely through video meetings and written documentation • Use AI-assisted development for prototyping, test generation, refactoring, documentation, and incident follow-ups

🎯 Anforderungen

• Experience on both the backend and frontend; experience with Go and TypeScript, or comparable languages • Fluency with AI-assisted development, coding agents, and LLM tooling • Working knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana dashboards, alerting, and production observability systems • Strong written communication skills • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment • Strong communication skills for collaboration across time zones • Candidates must be based in the US or Canada • Ability to work in the EST time zone • Bonus: experience contributing to or maintaining Open Source projects • Bonus: experience with Developer Tooling with a large user base • Bonus: experience building Grafana plugins, apps, or dashboards • Bonus: familiarity with Grafana Alloy or the OpenTelemetry Collector • Bonus: experience writing Jsonnet or another configuration-as-code language • Bonus: prior on-call experience for instrumented systems
