Beschreibung

• Build robust frameworks validating customer journey flows and end-to-end scenarios • Formulate tools and frameworks that developers will adopt for feature testing • Build and execute testing integration points in deployment pipelines • Design and execute scalable, maintainable testing plans adopted by the development team • Define quality engineering scope and procedures for the application • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Appium, Kotest, and Cypress • Determine the best automation framework to enable developer-owned testing • Design and build agent-driven test automation frameworks across web, API, and mobile platforms • Develop AI agents for test case generation using product specs, user flows, and historical defects • Implement self-healing automation to improve test stability and reduce maintenance • Test APIs for resiliency, latency, and performance • Extend tests into automated build tests • Collaborate with developers and product owners on customer needs, application features, and database use • Create reusable components distributed as libraries and packages • Triage problems using logging solutions and identify unit, integration, and end-to-end test coverage • Interface with service teams through POCs and workshops to improve the testing lifecycle • Support quality implementation in CI/CD pipelines and determine when, where, and how tests should run • Own testing metrics, identify gaps, and report metrics to drive improvements • Demonstrate behaviors aligned with organizational culture and core values

🎯 Anforderungen

• 4+ years of experience as a software development engineer in test • Experience building and using mobile and web automation with Appium and Cypress • Experience using API automation frameworks such as Rest Assured and Kotest • Hands-on experience or strong interest in AI/LLM-based systems, agentic workflows, or intelligent automation • Experience with self-healing automation frameworks for mobile, web, and API testing • Ability to communicate and plan automation enablement with the development team • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to analyze complex problems in large systems • Experience with ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD providers • Deep understanding of testing APIs and microservices • History of successfully triaging bugs to root cause • Ability to quickly learn, change, and upgrade to new technologies • Experience with JIRA and Atlassian products, including work management and dashboards • Nice to have: non-functional testing automation and K6/JMeter • Nice to have: GraphQL testing • Preferred: test processes, open-source test frameworks, test design strategies, test cases, and Java automation with JUnit/TestNG, Selenium, JMeter, and Appium • Nice to have: prior consulting experience • Nice to have: experience leading ambiguous situations and resolving technical issues
