Beschreibung

• Take ownership of features from start to finish using agile methodologies • Deliver features with feature flags, tests, and observability • Work with the product team to refine plans and identify issues and opportunities • Contribute to the squad’s technical direction, architectural consistency, code quality, and engineering best practice • Work with the Head of Platform and VP of Engineering Operations on AWS infrastructure, including EKS, ECS, Lambda, CloudFront, and S3 • Design and improve CI/CD pipelines, progressive delivery, and automated rollback workflows • Standardise platform practices across squads • Drive reliability monitoring and improve early incident detection and resolution • Extend the observability stack using Prometheus, Grafana, and Sentry • Improve the platform security posture through vulnerability scanning, penetration-testing coordination, and standards enforcement • Contribute to cross-platform architectural standards, shared libraries, and internal tooling decisions • Lead progressive modernisation of legacy systems through migration and consolidation without disrupting delivery • Mentor across squads and help shape technical direction platform-wide

🎯 Anforderungen

• Experience in both Software Engineering and DevOps • Experience working across the tech stack • Experience with TypeScript, NodeJS/Express, Python, Lambda, FastAPI, Angular, and React Native • Experience with DocumentDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL • Experience with AWS cloud services • Experience with Kubernetes/K8s, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins • Experience with Jest and Cypress • Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Sentry • Experience designing and improving CI/CD pipelines • Experience with progressive delivery and automated rollback workflows • Experience with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing coordination • Experience contributing to architectural standards, shared libraries, and internal tooling • Experience modernising legacy systems through migration and consolidation • Product-minded approach to principal-level individual-contributor work • Ability to deliver features with security and performance in mind • Ability to produce technical proposals, specifications, testing reports, and release plans
