Beschreibung

• Own features from start to finish using agile methodologies, feature flags, tests, and observability • Work with the product team to refine plans and identify issues and opportunities • Deliver secure, high-performance features • Champion technical proposals, specifications, testing reports, release planning, and other high-quality communications • Work across the technology stack • Drive squad architectural consistency, code quality, and engineering best practice • Work with the Head of Platform and VP of Engineering Operations on AWS infrastructure • Design and improve CI/CD pipelines, progressive delivery, and automated rollback workflows • Standardize platform practices across squads • Improve reliability monitoring and early incident detection and resolution • Extend Prometheus, Grafana, and Sentry observability coverage across services • Own platform security posture improvements, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing coordination, and standards enforcement • Contribute to cross-platform architectural standards, shared libraries, and internal tooling decisions • Lead progressive modernization of legacy systems through migration and consolidation without disrupting delivery • Mentor across squads and help shape platform-wide technical direction

🎯 Anforderungen

• Product-minded principal engineer • Senior individual contributor experience • Experience taking ownership of features from start to finish using agile methodologies • Experience delivering with feature flags, tests, and observability • Ability to work with product teams to refine plans and identify issues and opportunities • Ability to deliver features with security and performance in mind • High-quality communication, including technical proposals and specifications, testing reporting, and release planning • Comfortable working across the technology stack • Ability to contribute to squad technical direction, architectural consistency, code quality, and engineering best practices • Experience with AWS infrastructure, including EKS, ECS, Lambda, CloudFront, and S3 • Experience designing and improving CI/CD pipelines, progressive delivery, and automated rollback workflows • Reliability monitoring and incident response • Prometheus, Grafana, and Sentry • Vulnerability scanning and penetration testing coordination • Cross-platform architectural standards, shared libraries, and internal tooling • Progressive modernization and migration of legacy systems • TypeScript, NodeJS/Express, Python, Lambda, FastAPI, Angular, React Native, DocumentDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jest, and Cypress
