Beschreibung

• Work alongside experienced software engineers and technical specialists • Design, develop, and maintain HealthStream software products according to technology best practices and product offerings • Work with team leaders and senior developers to understand and refine requirements • Design and estimate effort for new features or subsystems from business concept through detailed technical design • Develop quality, defect-free software adhering to company coding and documentation standards • Adhere to HealthStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training • Perform basic troubleshooting using a code debugger • Identify trouble areas in code, server configuration, or databases • Apply basic understanding of CI/CD and code deployment patterns • Use integrated development environments and source control systems • Leverage AI tooling regularly to enhance quality and personal throughput

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field • One year of software development experience preferred • Basic understanding of CI/CD and code deployment patterns • Basic experience with SQL and relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL • Some experience with writing unit tests • Experience with leveraging AI tooling to enhance personal productivity and quality • Preferred: C# programming language and .NET development • Preferred: Entity Framework Core • Preferred: Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud concepts • Preferred: Infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation • Ability to communicate clearly to team members verbally and in written form • Strong logic and problem-solving skills • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously • Excellent time management, prioritization, attention to detail, and organization skills • Ability to work individually and as part of a team • Ability to learn via self-directed courseware and mentoring • Professional conduct and adherence to corporate policies
