Hipp Health ist eine AI-native Plattform für klinische Abläufe in ambulanten Therapieeinrichtungen – zunächst für Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), mit geplanter Erweiterung auf Sprach- und Ergotherapie. Die Plattform bietet durchgängige Workflows für Intake (SMS, Portal, Erfassung von Überweisungen), Terminplanung, klinische Versorgung (Sitzungsnotizen, Behandlungspläne, klinische Entscheidungsunterstützung), Abrechnung und Revenue Cycle Management (Claims, Ablehnungen, Gespräche mit Kostenträgern) sowie Compliance und HIPAA-Sicherheit. Hipp automatisiert administrative Aufgaben mithilfe von Agents und AI-Funktionen, um Ablehnungen zu reduzieren, Zahlungen zu beschleunigen, die Terminplanung zu vereinfachen und die Qualität der Dokumentation zu verbessern. Zielgruppe sind Therapieeinrichtungen und Kliniken.

Beschreibung

• Design, build, and ship production features across the Hipp platform • Build features used daily by healthcare providers • Work across backend services, APIs, and frontend systems • Design and implement scalable systems for AI-native EMR, billing, and operational workflows • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver user-facing features • Own projects from early design through implementation, testing, launch, and iteration • Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions • Improve developer workflows, system reliability, and engineering quality as the platform scales

🎯 Anforderungen

• 3–4 years of software engineering experience building production applications • Strong foundation in software engineering fundamentals, data structures, and system design • Experience building across the stack, including backend systems and user-facing product features • Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Python, Go, Java, or Node.js / TypeScript • Experience with modern frontend development using React, TypeScript / JavaScript, and APIs • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs or other service interfaces • Strong product sense and ability to translate requirements into reliable, scalable software • Comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a high degree of ownership • Curiosity, pragmatism, and willingness to learn new tools and technologies quickly • Employer-sponsored work authorization question indicates U.S. work authorization is relevant to application • Nice to have: experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure • Nice to have: familiarity with distributed systems, asynchronous workflows, or microservices • Nice to have: experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL systems • Nice to have: startup or small-team engineering experience • Nice to have: exposure to healthcare technology, EMR / EHR systems, billing workflows, or revenue cycle operations • Nice to have: interest in AI systems, workflow automation, or data-intensive products
