Beschreibung

• Lead a team of engineers designing, building, and supporting The Home Depot's technical infrastructure • Ensure reliability, performance, and security of the enterprise z/OS mainframe environment • Install, configure, tune, and maintain z/OS and ISV products • Lead configuration, debugging, and support for information technology solutions • Lead technology rollouts and stand up required system software, hardware, and equipment • Create and optimize technology solution specifications • Manage hardware and software purchase requests • Lead development of functional and destructive test suites for infrastructure-as-code deployment • Research technology innovations, industry trends, internal systems, and support requirements • Evaluate, develop, and recommend strategic technology solutions • Design infrastructure, network, database, cloud, AI, and security architectures • Create and maintain infrastructure as code and AI models • Participate in strategic project planning and management • Develop formal training courses • Collaborate with product and project teams to enable infrastructure solutions • Support technology architecture design reviews • Monitor applications, infrastructure, networks, databases, and security; optimize and tune performance • Drive root cause analysis, debugging, support, and post-mortem analysis for security incidents and service interruptions • Maintain, upgrade, and support systems and infrastructure • Act as vendor liaison for resourcing, issue management, and documentation • Produce in-house solution documentation • Provide production application support • Mentor junior Systems Engineers • Convert knowledge-base articles into AI models • Drive changes to analytic models used to analyze performance

🎯 Anforderungen

• Must be eighteen years of age or older • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • Minimum 8 years of work experience • 8+ years supporting production enterprise z/OS mainframe infrastructure • Core z/OS systems programming: base control program, JES2/JES3, JCL, IPL, JES2 commands, and batch management • Hands-on experience with SMP/E for product installation and maintenance • z/Architecture hardware experience across z13 / z14 / z15 / z16 • Parallel Sysplex / High Availability: Sysplex Distributor, Coupling Facility, GRS, and WLM • HCD / HCM administration of IODF / IOCDS / IOCP • Workload automation and scheduling: CA-7 / CA-11, AutoOps and/or OPS/MVS, and ThruPut Manager or equivalent • Mainframe networking: TCP/IP, VTAM, NFS, SAN (FCIP), Fibre Channel, and FICON connectivity • Security administration: RACF and/or ACF2, digital certificates and keyrings, Vanguard, Imperva, zSecure, and ICSF cryptography • Performance, capacity, and monitoring: RMF/SMF analysis, OMEGAMON and/or MAINVIEW • Scripting and customization: REXX, CLIST, system utilities, and exit routines • zOSMF (z/OS Management Facility) • Ability to document platforms and cross-train peers to reduce single-person dependencies • Diagnostics/problem determination: Debug Tool for z/OS, Fault Analyzer, and IPCS/GTF • Output management: Deliver, View, and spool/print operations • BCV4 (ESAI) or comparable replication/copy tooling • z/VM operating system exposure • DB2 for z/OS administration, DB2 utilities / IBM Admin Tool, DB2 Connect, DPROPR, SQL, SPUFI, and QMF • DB2 specialty tooling: Insight for DB2, RC/Migrator, RC/Compare, Log Analyzer, Subsystem Analyzer, and Plan Analyzer • Middleware: MQ Series / IBM MQ support • Modernization/configuration management: Ansible, Zowe, and Python • Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related field
