Beschreibung

• Collaborate with Hondros College of Nursing leadership, Subject Matter Experts, and Instructional Designers to develop and revise nursing courses and curricula • Provide course design support to faculty members and SMEs to create effective, engaging learning environments informed by student learning outcomes • Identify course goals and evidence-based instructional strategies using applicable Board of Nursing, HLC, CNEA, and other standards • Lead the development and maintenance of School of Nursing courses • Apply instructional design principles and quality assessment techniques to create pedagogically sound learning interactions • Design assessments demonstrating achievement of course competencies and end-of-program student learning outcomes • Conduct training and informative sessions for nursing leadership and faculty on curriculum development, mapping, crosswalks, and assessments • Ensure new and revised courses use current information, resources, and textbooks, seeking outside validation • Coordinate development of functional, sustainable instructional materials aligned with educational objectives, content, and activities • Integrate Board of Nursing regulations and AACN The Essentials competencies into curricula • Map NTF Standards for Nurse Practitioners, AONL Nurse Executive Competencies, and NLN Core Competencies for Nurse Educators within curricula • Develop course revision timelines with the Instructional Design team • Maintain a listing of subject experts across programs • Serve as a curricular expert guiding use of available resources • Support Hondros College of Nursing’s diversity and inclusion commitment • Perform other duties as requested, directed, and assigned

🎯 Anforderungen

• Minimum of five years of experience as a nurse • Master of Science in Nursing or related field required • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Ohio required • CNE certification preferred • Knowledge of various State Boards of Nursing approval requirements • Knowledge of NCSBN testing guidelines, expectations, and detailed test plans • Knowledge of nursing programmatic accreditation • Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision • Excellent written communication, verbal communication, and presentation skills required
