Beschreibung

• Build and ship product capabilities across backend services, APIs, and modern web interfaces • Own moderate-to-large projects end-to-end, including scoping, technical design, implementation, rollout, and iteration • Implement clear, maintainable, performant user-facing experiences aligned with product requirements and design direction • Partner with Product, Design, and adjacent engineering teams on cross-functional initiatives • Identify and resolve technical risks, blockers, and mis-scoped work • Communicate technical topics, tradeoffs, delivery risks, and implementation choices to technical and non-technical audiences • Contribute to architecture and design discussions • Write high-quality code, tests, and technical documentation • Provide code reviews that improve team output • Support and mentor less experienced engineers • Improve engineering quality, team execution, and product experience through ownership and continuous improvement

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience • Strong professional experience building and operating production software across backend and frontend layers • Experience developing backend services using Go, Rust, Python, Java, TypeScript, or similar • Experience building frontend applications with Angular, React, or similar modern frameworks • Experience working with SQL-based relational databases in production • Experience building backend services on AWS, GCP, or Azure • Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications • Experience designing and operating APIs, services, and asynchronous or event-driven systems • Knowledge of data modeling and persistence layers • Knowledge of cloud-native application development and deployment patterns • Knowledge of observability, reliability, and operational best practices • Ability to independently drive substantial work from problem definition through delivery • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience mentoring engineers through code reviews, design collaboration, and technical guidance • Product-minded approach and ability to balance competing priorities • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Preferred: PostgreSQL and performance tuning, Neo4j or graph databases, GraphQL, ETL pipelines, observability stacks, and cybersecurity or vulnerability-management experience
