Beschreibung

• Create, manage, and refine 3D models for electrical systems using Revit • Collaborate with other disciplines and industry trades to ensure seamless model integration • Maintain project models according to BIM execution plans and project-specific standards • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve clashes between electrical and other systems using Navisworks or similar tools • Prepare technical drawings compliant with project specifications and industry standards • Generate schedules and Bills of Materials from BIM models for procurement and construction teams • Lead BIM coordination meetings and communicate with internal and external project stakeholders • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing BIM workflows for medium to large projects • Manage deadlines and deliverables, ensuring timely submission of accurate models and documentation • Support creation and enforcement of BIM standards and best practices across projects • Identify workflow improvements and implement new modeling tools or processes • Train Designer 1 and 2 in BIM best practices and provide technical guidance

🎯 Anforderungen

• High school diploma or equivalent • Two-year degree in electrical construction, electrical design for construction, or similar preferred • 5+ years of experience in BIM coordination or electrical design within the construction industry • Experience working on medium-to-large projects involving complex electrical systems • Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks or Revizto, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) • Familiarity with BIM standards and model coordination platforms • Understanding of electrical systems • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and accuracy • Knowledge of Dynamo scripting or other Revit automation tools preferred • Experience with cloud-based collaboration tools such as BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud preferred • Familiarity with electrical codes and standards, including NEC and IEC, preferred • Ability to work in a professional office environment and use standard office equipment • Ability to sit frequently and occasionally kneel, reach, stoop, crouch, or crawl • Ability to lift files, open file cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary • Ability to occasionally lift up to 10 pounds
