Beschreibung

• Provide effective and ethical leadership of subordinate staff members • Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of procurement-related activities including developing and managing a vast array of contracts • Assist with the development and issuance of solicitations such as Requests for: Proposals, Bids, Quotations, and Qualifications • Oversee solicitation evaluations, contract negotiations, contract management, records management, materials management • Train staff on Lean Methodologies and lead Process improvement projects that impact overall supply chain performance • Optimize supply chain efficiency by implementing best practices and fostering continuous improvement initiatives • Collaborate cross-functionally to align procurement strategies with organizational goals

🎯 Anforderungen

• Six (6) years of professional procurement and contracts experience in a Procurement Department or Agency • Supervisory/lead capacity experience required • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required, degree preferably in Procurement, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field • In lieu of the required degree, a High School Diploma, AND a minimum of three (3) *Procurement Training Certifications achieved within the last three (3) years from one or more of the following types of professional organizations will be required: Globally and/or Nationally known professional Procurement/Supply Chain organization (e.g. NIGP, CAPPO, ASCM, NCMA, CSCMP, CIPS) • Possession of a certificate as a Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) by the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) • Six Sigma Certification is desired
