Beschreibung

• Write and maintain production Python services handling billions of daily requests, including core rendering and delivery infrastructure • Design systems with failure modes, cost, and performance in mind, and own them through deployment and beyond • Build infrastructure tooling and automation using Terraform, CI/CD, and Docker • Collaborate across engineering on cloud cost optimization while balancing reliability and performance with budget constraints • Support 99.99%+ uptime through monitoring, incident response, and on-call rotation • Create operational references, design documents, and alert guides • Deploy, monitor, debug, and improve production systems • Investigate root causes of incidents and implement preventative fixes

🎯 Anforderungen

• Strong Python development skills and ability to write clean, maintainable production code • 5+ years of experience with a major cloud provider • Experience with multi-region cloud deployments • GCP experience strongly preferred; AWS or Azure also considered • Terraform or OpenTofu infrastructure-as-code experience • Experience deploying infrastructure through CI/CD • Linux fundamentals • Experience with on-call duties and production incident triage using logs and metrics • Ability to investigate root causes independently • Strong async written communication skills • Experience with CDNs, caching infrastructure, or visual media pipelines is a bonus • Familiarity with GDPR and SOC 2 is a bonus
