Beschreibung

• Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of complex mechatronic systems • Analyze complex system trade-offs to recommend optimized architectural solutions and deployment strategies • Partner with global customers to interpret technical specifications and develop the Engineering Scope of Work (SOW) • Perform rigorous engineering calculations and simulations to validate system performance • Ensure all designs comply with internal procedures, client standards, and international regulations • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert, providing technical direction and mentorship to global engineering teams • Initiate and manage strategic relationships with vendors and technology partners • Lead cross-functional cost-reduction exercises to optimize existing mechatronic designs • Finalize production-ready designs and GD&T-compliant prints • Utilize field data and customer feedback to lead the upgrade, repair, or optimization of existing automated machinery • Facilitate and present technical designs to management and customers for critical design reviews • Partner with the business development team to provide technical validation during the pre-sales phase • Travel to customer sites as needed to lead design reviews or troubleshoot critical performance issues

🎯 Anforderungen

• 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in mechatronics and machine design • Proven ability to design industrial robotics, automation systems, power transmissions, and electromechanical subassemblies • Deep knowledge of machined parts, sheet metal, welded frames, and piping/routing, including selection of materials and secondary finishes • Expert-level use of SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or Siemens NX • Hands-on experience with PLC programming, control logic, and embedded systems (microcontrollers) • Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, including sensor/actuator integration and power distribution • Familiarity with international regulatory standards, including UL, CE, and ISO • Experience executing V&V protocols to ensure system performance and reliability • Strong analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving complex, multi-disciplinary engineering failures • Bachelor degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience
