Beschreibung

• Provide highly technical expertise and support in the use of database management systems • Evaluate and recommend DBMS products to support validated user requirements • Define file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures for user applications • Develop, implement, and maintain database backup and recovery procedures • Ensure data integrity, security, and recoverability in DBMS applications • Support Oracle application database implementations in physical and cloud environments • Load schemas, scripts, and data into Oracle or Microsoft SQL databases • Create and modify tables, views, and indexes to address application developer issues • Control and monitor database user access; enroll users and maintain system security • Run monthly Oracle AWR reports, review results, and recommend database optimizations • Assist with performance tuning and troubleshooting of Oracle application database issues • Provide consultation and knowledge sharing on database requirements for new and existing projects • Assist application teams in interfacing with the J64 DBA infrastructure team • Research, document, and remediate application STIG findings • Troubleshoot and resolve database problems • Support upgrades of Oracle to later approved releases

🎯 Anforderungen

• Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) • Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies • Five (5) years relevant experience • Ability to run Automated Workload Repository (AWR) reports • Must have a Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate • Experience in DBMS system analysis and programming • Experience using current DBMS technologies and application design using various database management systems • Experience with DBMS internals • Highly technical expertise and support in DBMS use • Knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases • Knowledge of database backup and recovery procedures • Knowledge of database security, user access control, and system security • Knowledge of Oracle Automated Workload Repository (AWR) reports and database performance optimization • Knowledge of Oracle database technology, performance tuning, and troubleshooting • Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) findings and remediation
