Beschreibung

• Lead the end-to-end accounting and operational oversight of sales commission programs. • Partner with Sales Operations, Revenue, FP&A, Legal, Payroll, and HR to operationalize compensation plans. • Oversee and optimize the Varicent incentive compensation system. • Ensure accurate and timely recording of commission expense in compliance with US GAAP and ASC 606. • Lead, coach, and develop a team of three commission accounting professionals. • Design, maintain, and enhance internal controls over commission calculations in a SOX compliant environment.

🎯 Anforderungen

• 8–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with significant experience in commission accounting within a SaaS or subscription-based environment. • Previous experience with system implementation and user requirement definitions. • 3+ years of people management experience, including coaching and developing high-performing teams. • Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 606 and capitalization and amortization of sales commissions. • Experience working in a publicly traded company with SOX compliance requirements. • Experience with incentive compensation management tools such as Xactly, CaptivateIQ, or similar platforms. • Demonstrated project management experience, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and system implementations. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical accounting concepts to non-technical audiences.
