Beschreibung

• Install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Intuitive products in the assigned territory • Fulfill service agreements and warranty obligations while exceeding customer expectations • Serve as a senior da Vinci surgical technical expert across all system platforms • Perform scheduled maintenance, system inspections, preventive maintenance, software updates, recalls, field actions, and upgrades • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Intuitive products and associated equipment • Coordinate and perform system and hardware delivery and installation • Complete administrative duties including spare-parts inventory, Field Activity Reports, Return Material Authorizations, and expense reports • Maintain company-issued tooling, calibrated tool sets, vehicle, laptops, iPads, and other assets • Support Intuitive teams, including sales trade shows, customer phone support, and hospital-contact coordination • Provide feedback to headquarters and participate in continuous improvement projects • Complete required equipment training, Intuitive Surgical University classes, and professional development courses • Manage the assigned territory, including customer needs, install-base configurations, customer contacts, relationships, training, and events • Mentor junior Field Service Engineers after gaining sufficient experience • Participate in new product introductions and regional process-improvement initiatives • Support service-contract renewals

🎯 Anforderungen

• University or college degree in science or a technical engineering field, or equivalent • Alternatively, 5 years of equivalent work experience, or 3 years of experience and a Master’s degree, or a PhD without experience • Strong written and oral communication skills in the market’s local language(s) and English • Strong interpersonal skills • Strong technical knowledge of Intuitive Surgical products, with time served • Teaching and presentation skills • Strong administrative and record-keeping skills • Knowledge of Operating Room protocol preferred • Track record of solid customer relationships with surgeons and hospital staff preferred • Proven ability to independently troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems • Ability to travel up to 50–70%, dependent upon account distribution and region • Candidates may be subject to U.S. export-control licensing or a Technology Control Plan, if applicable
