Beschreibung

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mobile engineers • Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs • Allocate work assignments based on skills, location, and urgency • Foster a collaborative culture focused on safety, quality, and customer service • Develop Technical Supervisors through cross-training • Ensure planned preventative maintenance schedules are completed on time and to specification • Coordinate reactive maintenance callouts and emergency responses • Monitor job completion, first-time-fix, and service delivery metrics • Communicate with clients about service delivery and engineering issues • Lead twice-daily performance management calls with CEC • Review technician diaries and batch work orders for efficiency • Optimize scheduling using backlog, PPM, and in-SLA reactive work • Assist with technician allocation to meet SLA/KPI requirements • Review and approve engineering work specifications and method statements • Provide technical guidance and reactive support for complex repairs and installations • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, building regulations, and manufacturer specifications • Create RAMS documents using Hands HQ • Manage logistics for approved quoted works, including RAMS, parts, access, tools, and qualifications • Promote safety, conduct risk assessments, and implement safe systems of work • Complete at least two technician audits monthly • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions • Manage access equipment specifications for CEC ordering • Manage out-of-hours rotas and on-call escalation support • Ensure technician certification documentation is complete • Manage day-one inductions, tablet training, and best-practice training for new technicians • Cover for the Engineering Manager during sickness and annual leave

🎯 Anforderungen

• Strong I.T. literacy skills • Proven experience leading or supervising engineering teams • Strong technical knowledge across building services disciplines • Experience with CAFM systems, including Corrigo • Experience with mobile workforce management tools • Full UK driving licence • Experience in facilities management or building services maintenance • Proficiency with performance management systems • Strong leadership and people management skills • Excellent organizational and planning capabilities • Effective communication skills at all levels • Problem-solving ability under pressure • Customer-focused approach with commercial awareness • Strong analytical skills for performance monitoring and data quality assessment • Ability to work autonomously while supporting wider team objectives • Proactive approach to quality assurance and continuous improvement • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent H&S qualification (desirable) • Experience creating RAMS (desirable) • CDM knowledge (desirable)
