Beschreibung

• Lead or support the design of HV/MV substations (69kV–500kV), including physical layout, grounding, protection and control, and equipment specifications • Develop one-lines, three-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment plans • Create substation construction drawing packages • Develop bills of materials and procure minor materials • Ensure designs comply with NESC, IEEE, NEC, and utility standards • Collaborate with procurement, construction, and project management teams throughout the EPC lifecycle • Provide engineering support during construction, including RFIs, field changes, and technical clarifications • Review vendor drawings, equipment submittals, and technical documentation • Participate in constructability reviews • Support commissioning activities

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline • 5+ years of substation engineering experience within utilities, EPC firms, or engineering consultancies • Strong knowledge of high-voltage substation design, protection and control, and physical layout • Experience working in an EPC project environment; full lifecycle exposure preferred • Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar engineering tools • Understanding of IEEE, NESC, NEC, and utility specifications • Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills • EIT certification or PE license is a plus • Past project experience working with large utilities • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word • Must be able to travel for meetings or site visits
