Beschreibung

• Lead the design of significant components of a modern digital service platform • Design and support platform automation, build, deployment and live operation • Work with engineering, testing, consulting, product management and security colleagues • Build, test and deploy high-quality software • Apply appropriate technologies, industry standards and best practices • Drive technical conversations and decisions for scalable, secure, reliable and performant services • Ensure production services remain available, secure and performant while continuously improving them • Coach and mentor junior team members • Develop technology specialisms and pursue career progression opportunities

🎯 Anforderungen

• Proven strong team skills, including working in a multi-disciplinary team • Good verbal and written communication skills, including communicating with technical and non-technical people • Significant expertise using multiple configuration management, infrastructure provisioning and automation tools • Fluency in at least one of: Powershell, Bash, Python, Ruby, Go, Groovy • Experience designing, building, testing, automating, monitoring and supporting significant components within a modern digital service platform in production environments • Experience producing scalable, resilient, efficient, secure, cost-effective designs that minimise lock-in • Experience contributing to technical decisions and direction, including architecture, estimation, product planning, user story/requirement creation and advocating MVP • Experience implementing modern Continuous Delivery processes for releasing software to production • Experience applying industry best practices and patterns across infrastructure and application components, including security, elasticity and performance • Experience using AWS public cloud platforms to solve business problems • Experience applying configuration management, infrastructure provisioning and container orchestration tooling • Experience using modern version control systems including Git • Experience debugging complex problems across multiple servers, services and tools • Active Security Clearance required • Mid-level public cloud certification, related qualification, cloud-native SaaS/PaaS experience, and mentoring experience are desirable rather than essential
