Beschreibung

• Design, develop, test, and maintain new software for internal customers from the ground up • Define architecture, technical patterns, and engineering practices for a new platform • Integrate with or extract capabilities from legacy applications • Develop backend services primarily in Python, with emphasis on Flask • Build and integrate solutions using AWS Lambda, Cognito, SNS, SQS, and DynamoDB • Maintain and improve deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes • Build and maintain infrastructure using OpenTofu and Terraform • Collaborate with stakeholders on the product roadmap, communicate progress, identify risks, and support delivery in an Agile/Scrum environment • Partner with the Tech Lead and Engineering Manager on technical decisions and scalable development practices • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team-wide engineering standards • Mentor junior developers on Python and engineering practices

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field • Minimum 5+ years of engineering experience • Deep understanding of Python • 5 years+ experience in Flask preferred • Experience with AWS, particularly Lambda, Cognito, SNS, SQS, and DynamoDB • 2+ years of Salesforce experience • 3+ years of experience building or maintaining deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes • Experience building clean, readable, and well-documented code using modern best practices • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as OpenTofu and Terraform • Experience working in an Agile environment utilizing Scrum • Experience collaborating with Product Owners and technical leadership to deliver work from a prioritized roadmap or backlog • Strong understanding of software development, testing, code quality, maintainability, and technical documentation • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Ability to remain organized and effective under pressure while managing time-sensitive deliverables • Growth mindset and interest in progressing from a senior engineering role toward technical leadership • Strong sense of mentorship and willingness to support other team members • Financial services or lending industry experience is a strong plus • AWS certification preferred
