Beschreibung

• Lead the evolution of the Kinaxis Maestro platform to a cloud-native architecture • Define and drive architectural foundations for massive scale, elastic performance, and cost-efficient execution • Design and evolve highly scalable, distributed, cloud-native architectures for core platform capabilities • Shape architectural direction for backend data processing, query execution, and platform services • Set standards for cloud-native design and guide distributed-systems architecture decisions • Ensure architectures are extensible and production-ready • Act as a technical authority across Product R&D and influence decisions spanning cloud infrastructure, core platform services, and data systems • Mentor senior engineers and elevate architectural rigor across teams • Write code, build prototypes, validate assumptions, and support reliable, scalable implementations • Collaborate with engineers, product leaders, and executives to communicate complex architectural concepts • Guide teams toward technically excellent solutions aligned with business outcomes • Support platform modernization by re-architecting core data, query, and execution capabilities for cloud operation

🎯 Anforderungen

• Advanced education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • Deep, demonstrated experience building large-scale, distributed cloud systems • Extensive experience designing, implementing, and evolving database, storage, indexing, query execution, caching, consistency, replication, or metadata-management capabilities in large-scale distributed production systems • Extensive experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems in production environments • Strong background in distributed data processing, distributed databases, query engines, or platform-level data services • Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, scalability, elasticity, fault tolerance, and cost-aware design • Ability to translate complex technical challenges into clear architectural designs • Ability to work with ambiguous requirements and communicate robust architectural designs aligned with stakeholder expectations • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and core infrastructure services • Proficiency in Go and/or other high-performance backend languages such as C++ • Understanding of system performance, concurrency, consistency models, and operational trade-offs in distributed environments • Ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams as a senior technical leader • Excellent communication skills • Ability to accelerate the SDLC through innovative application of AI or other tooling while maintaining architecture consistency, secure design, and code quality • Ability to rigorously review AI-generated code for correctness, architectural fit, integration risk, and edge-case support • Nice to have: experience designing platforms supporting AI, agentic systems, or advanced analytics at scale • Nice to have: exposure to Data Fabric, semantic layers, or extensible platform architectures • Nice to have: technical leadership through internal platforms, publications, patents, or open-source contributions
