Beschreibung

• Oversee critical accounting operations and ensure integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of processes • Manage end-to-end accounting cycle, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and close activities • Lead multiple accounting activities across areas such as Cash, Accounts Payables, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, Leases, Payroll • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation • Maintain a strong internal control environment and ensure compliance with corporate policies and GAAP • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries • Analyze account activity, identify variances or trends, and drive resolution of accounting issues • Identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff • Collaborate with Finance, FP&A, Procurement, Tax, Operations, and stakeholders • Prepare presentations to senior management on accounting matters and policy updates • Provide timely updates and recommendations on new pronouncements and significant transactions

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience • Minimum of 13 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree • Strong experience in the full accounting cycle • Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP, accrual-based accounting, and internal control principles • Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as Oracle PeopleSoft and Costpoint; SAP experience is a plus • Experience with automation initiatives, process optimization, or systems improvements within accounting operations • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Effective written and verbal communication skills • CPA, CFA, CPP or CMA designation is a plus • Experience in Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting, and Capital Management • Prior experience leading teams or managing accounting personnel
