Beschreibung

• Producing software and documentation that will directly impact products, customers, and patients • Leading technical development projects and performing fact-finding research as required • Providing guidance to others to achieve goals in accordance with established policies • Leveraging expertise to drive decision making • Ensuring project schedules and performance requirements are met • Providing reports to managers and staff on systems and software, including capabilities, performance, and security • Interacting with management on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers • Responsible for the technical direction, leadership, and training of less experienced staff • Acting independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics, Biology, Computer Science, or Software Engineering • 5 or more years of experience in software engineering • 5 or more years of experience with Python, PERL, R, C/C++, Java, or BASH • 5 or more years of experience with Next Generation Sequencing (NSG), pipeline development or machine learning • PhD in Bioinformatics, Biology, Computer Science, or Software Engineering (preferred) • 4 or more years of experience in Bioinformatics (preferred) • 4 or more years of experience with Algorithm development (preferred) • 4 or more years of experience with Angular, React, or JavaScript (preferred) • 4 or more years of experience with Django, or RESTful APIs (preferred) • 4 or more years of experience with SQL, or NoSQL (preferred) • 4 or more years of experience with agile software development methodology and practices, git source control, and Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo) (preferred)
