Beschreibung

• Improve the simulation/resimulation cloud framework and applications that run on it • Write Python code using open-source packages and AWS/GCP services • Identify scalability bottlenecks and performance issues through benchmarking • Build dashboards to track and summarize performance information • Implement solutions to increase efficiency • Improve framework usability based on user feedback and observed usage • Engage with autonomy, systems, test, and other teams to identify future improvements • Maintain documentation and enable teams to extend the framework independently • Improve storage and search workflows for vehicle logs • Automate indexing of relevant actors and interactions in scenes • Determine dataset coverage • Implement sim/resim framework support for AV performance metrics • Support metrics implementation across low-level detector performance and high-level business objectives • Collaborate with engineers across the onboard and offboard autonomy stack

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field and 4+ years of relevant experience (or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or PhD) • Expertise in writing efficient, well-documented, and well-tested Python code • 2+ years’ experience writing scalable applications that execute in a cloud or HPC environment • 2+ years’ experience writing software that interacts with AWS and/or GCP services • Familiarity with NumPy and scientific programming • Willingness and desire to learn how onboard and offboard components interact and propose solutions to improve developer and tester workflows • C++ development experience (optional) • Experience with Kubernetes (optional) • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis • Visa sponsorship is available for this position
