Beschreibung

• Set the quality bar through individual contributions and code reviews • Design, build, and own features end to end across C#/.NET and SQL Server, extending into React and Node (TypeScript) with Postgres on newer products • Break down large or ambiguous technical problems into executable work items • Partner with the Product Owner to sequence work against roadmap commitments and state compliance deadlines • Develop deep knowledge of the technical estate and integrations moving educator, district, and evaluation data between state systems • Act as a technical resource across the team and unblock teammates • Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and go-to-market partners to understand customer problems and inform product direction • Optimize systems to improve availability, performance, and the day-to-day experience of education agencies • Contribute technical recommendations, feedback, estimation, and planning • Participate as a member of a self-managing Scrum team • Share delivery responsibilities, including production support • Report to the Software Engineering Manager

🎯 Anforderungen

• Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience • Sustained history of owning a complex codebase, or a track record of moving effectively between codebases, or a strong balance of the two • Strong computer science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, and coding fluency, with demonstrated depth in a modern web stack • Deep hands-on experience with C# and .NET, including ASP.NET web applications and backend service development • Working proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern front-end framework • Strong relational database skills, including schema design and data modeling in SQL Server, Postgres, or comparable systems • Working knowledge of a major public cloud provider; Azure experience is relevant, and AWS or Google Cloud experience translates well • Experience delivering at pace in an Agile team environment, including source control, CI/CD, automated testing, and production support • Ability to break down technical problems into discrete steps as part of a credible solution plan • Ability to guide teammates toward solutions with questions rather than answers • Collaborative approach with communal ownership of work, knowledge sharing, and helping others meet the technical standard • Experience working across both greenfield and legacy codebases (preferred) • Demonstrated history of mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar on a team (preferred) • Experience applying AI/GenAI tooling to increase development and support efficiency (preferred) • Above-average written and verbal communication skills (preferred) • Curiosity about customer problems and the business behind them (preferred)
