Beschreibung

• Build and ship features across a C#/.NET and SQL Server core, extending into React and Node (TypeScript) with Postgres on newer products • Work across the team's entire codebase, including established ASP.NET applications and newer services • Resolve technical and product problems proactively • Maintain the broader engineering environment, including CI/CD pipelines, test frameworks, UAT and production environments, and production support rotation • Develop understanding of team goals, compliance deadlines, and state reporting cycles shaping the roadmap • Write clean, reviewable code and review teammates' code • Collaborate directly with the Product Owner to understand customer problems behind tickets • Contribute to estimation and planning with technical feedback • Participate fully in a self-managing Scrum team and share ownership of team commitments • Serve as a main driver of story output while delivering features state agencies depend on

🎯 Anforderungen

• Minimum 3 years of professional software engineering experience • Hands-on experience with C# and .NET, or equivalent backend development experience such as Java • Strong computer science fundamentals - algorithms, data structures, and coding fluency • Solid understanding of object-oriented analysis, design, and development • Working relational database skills: writing complex queries and understanding schema design in SQL Server, Postgres, or comparable systems • Working proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern front-end framework • Experience delivering at pace in an Agile team environment, including source control, CI/CD, and automated testing • Generalist instincts and a willingness to work with whatever tool or language the job calls for • A desire to collaborate, with genuine belief in communal ownership of the work and mutual support in doing it • Clear written and verbal communication, and comfort asking questions early rather than staying blocked • Familiarity with a major public cloud provider; Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud experience • Preferred: Comfort tackling problems outside your existing experience and seeing them through • Preferred: An instinct for noticing what's broken—in the code, the process, or the way the team works—and trying to fix it • Preferred: Interest in mentoring teammates and growing into a technical leadership role over time • Preferred: Familiarity with Entity Framework or comparable .NET patterns • Preferred: Experience applying AI/GenAI tooling to increase development and support efficiency
