Beschreibung

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) for multiple companies. • Responsibility for complex accounting transactions, e.g., provisions, accruals, fixed asset accounting, and account reconciliation within the group. • Analysis and commentary on financial figures, variances between budget and actual results, and reports. • Ensuring compliance with legal requirements in accounting and tax law. • Assisting with the preparation of tax returns in collaboration with tax advisors. • Serving as the point of contact for auditors, tax authorities, and internal departments. • Supporting the further development and automation of processes, tools, and systems. • Mentoring and providing professional support to junior accountants.

🎯 Anforderungen

• Successfully completed commercial apprenticeship with additional training as a certified accountant (IHK) or a degree in business administration with a focus on accounting/finance. • Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, preferably in a similar position. • Very good knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB); knowledge of IFRS is a plus. • Proficiency in common accounting software (DATEV, MS Dynamics) as well as MS Excel. • Analytical thinking, a strong aptitude for numbers, and a structured, independent work style. • Ability to work well in a team, strong communication skills, and a high level of self-motivation. • Project or management experience is an advantage. • Fluency in both German and English
