Beschreibung

• Review and process proposal submissions to external sponsors • Review and facilitate establishment of externally sponsored awards • Ensure financial and programmatic components comply with institutional, state, and sponsor guidelines and regulations • Provide guidance to principal investigators and departmental support staff on proposal development • Review proposal compliance, including Conflict of Interest, IRB, IACUC, and institutional biosafety approvals • Review and facilitate externally sponsored awards and their compliance requirements • Provide institutional oversight of sponsor electronic systems and verify administrative, financial, and programmatic information • Finalize proposal reviews and facilitate timely submission to external sponsors • Finalize sponsored program awards and agreements and facilitate execution by the University's Authorized Organizational Representative • Administer financial and administrative components of active sponsored programs, including budget adjustments, scope/personnel changes, extensions, subawards, reporting, and closeout • Communicate with investigators, departmental support staff, and Office of Sponsored Programs Administration personnel to support efficient sponsored program administration • Exercise delegated signature authority and submit proposals and non-financial post-award actions on behalf of the university and/or research foundation

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Knowledge of institutional processes and federal requirements for proposal and award compliance • Ability to review budgets, scopes of work, research strategies, cost allowability, and biosketches • Knowledge of Conflict of Interest, human subjects/IRB, animal subjects/IACUC, institutional biosafety, financial, and programmatic compliance requirements • Ability to review and manage information in external sponsor electronic systems • Ability to administer budget adjustments, changes in scope or personnel, project extensions, subawards, reporting, and closeout documentation • Ability to communicate with principal investigators, departmental support staff, and sponsored programs personnel • Ability to meet sponsor proposal deadlines • Ability to work with award and agreement terms and conditions and negotiate agreement language as necessary
