Beschreibung

• Participate in the design and development of electrical construction documents, including layouts, details, and specifications. • Engineer complete building systems—lighting, power distribution, and specialty electrical systems—across a variety of project types. • Collaborate with architects, interior designers, civil engineers, and other disciplines to deliver integrated building solutions. • Engage with clients, support proposal development, and contribute to business growth. • Perform advanced analysis, calculations, and design evaluations for electrical power and lighting systems. • Use Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD to produce construction drawings and design electrical systems, including device layouts, circuiting, lighting, and panel schedules. • Review project requirements and coordinate with other disciplines to refine design strategies and respond to evolving project conditions. • Participate in client meetings, assess project needs, present design concepts, and adjust plans to meet client expectations. • Communicate technical and program information clearly to team members, management, and clients. • Define scope of work, conduct site inspections, and ensure quality and compliance throughout the design process. • Coordinate or perform field work to gather data and verify existing conditions. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of government, military, and industry standards. • Conduct internal technical reviews and quality control checks on project deliverables. • Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external stakeholders. • Edit and review technical specifications and contribute written narratives for project documentation. • Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and perform site visits during construction. • Prepare design fee estimates for proposals and RFPs.

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a focus on Electrical Engineering • 5 years of related experience • Licensed Professional Engineer Required • Effective visual/verbal communication skills • Possess a proficient understanding of inter-relationships among design/engineering disciplines, clients, and construction • Extensive experience in Autodesk Revit/AutoCAD • Engineering software experience (SKM, EasyPower, AGI32, or Elumtools) • Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) • Micro-Grid Design experience
