Beschreibung

• Audit AI training data in Hindi across two Amazon Sonic audit collections • Review human or agent speech recordings against annotator-produced transcriptions • Apply fixed error codes, assign pass/fail verdicts, and write a short rationale • Verify word-level segment start and end timestamps against the audio • Check that reference transcriptions match the spoken form • Correct boundaries, split or merge segments, add missing segments, and remove segments containing no word • Tag every applicable error code and explain pass/fail decisions in plain language • Call out critical errors first so failure reasons are clear • Complete a calibration phase before beginning production work • Work on projects supporting Mercor’s AI lab and enterprise partners in training frontier AI models

🎯 Anforderungen

• Native or near-native command of Hindi as spoken in India • Born and raised in a region where Hindi and this variety is dominant, or fully fluent with five or more years of residence in such a region • Strong English reading and writing • Ability to read a detailed rulebook and write clear feedback in English • Disciplined rubric application across hundreds of judgments • Careful listening skills, including distinguishing similar sounds and identifying word boundaries in continuous speech • Prior transcription, subtitling, localization, linguistic annotation, or QA experience is a strong signal • Helpful but not required: prior AI data annotation or model evaluation work • Helpful but not required: phonetics or linguistics background • Helpful but not required: experience with audio editing or waveform tools • Must complete a short calibration phase before production work • Must be engaged as an independent contractor • H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported
