Beschreibung

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade control plane microservices, custom Kubernetes operators, and reconciliation engines in Rust and Go • Author functional and non-functional requirements, architectural specifications, system sequence diagrams, and gRPC/Protobuf and REST API schemas • Develop integrations for modern network operating systems including SONiC, NVUE, and Cumulus, plus DPU hardware platforms • Instrument services with OpenTelemetry traces and metrics • Perform root-cause analysis across polyglot distributed systems • Participate in review-gated pull request workflows across Rust, Go, and SQL codebases • Ensure high test coverage through mock-driven testing • Drive development of control planes for high-density, high-throughput AI training and inference infrastructure • Contribute to open-source projects • Participate in design reviews, cross-domain code reviews, and on-call coverage

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience • 5+ years of software engineering experience in cloud-native platforms or systems programming • Primary mastery of Rust, including Tokio async runtime, Tonic, Axum, and sqlx • Proficiency in Go • Strong background in async concurrency models, lock-free patterns, distributed state handling, and mock-driven testing • gRPC/Protobuf contract design via tonic/prost • Schema evolution using zero-copy serialization and compile-time type generation • Experience writing custom Kubernetes controllers/operators using kube-rs or controller-runtime with CRD-driven reconciliation patterns • Commitment to test-driven design and highly testable code with mock interfaces • Proven track record writing architectural specifications and participating in cross-functional design reviews • Advanced SQL/PostgreSQL fluency • Expertise in BGP, MP-BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, L3VNI, route targets, and route server design • Hands-on experience with SONiC, Cumulus Linux, and NVUE • Knowledge of NVIDIA DOCA, HBN, BlueField DPU architectures, and DPF operator models • Understanding of InfiniBand, NVLink/NMX-M partitioning, and RoCEv2 • Advanced knowledge of Linux netlink, network namespaces, routing tables, and DHCP/DNS services • Familiarity with Calico and Cilium CNI plugins • Expertise in PXE/iPXE, UEFI, Secure Boot, measured boot, and TPM attestation • Proficiency in Redfish, IPMI, and BMC abstractions • In-depth knowledge of boot chains, systemd, initramfs, and BIOS configuration • Experience with PKI, X.509, TLS, SPIFFE/SVID, Vault, KMS, Keycloak, OAuth2/JWT, and RBAC • Experience with KubeVirt/KVM • Demonstrated participation in or maintenance of open-source systems projects
