Beschreibung

• Improve the customer experience by working with Mirantis customers, colleagues, stakeholders, partners, vendors, and other resources • Assess customer business strategy, drivers, constraints, current-state technology landscapes, application portfolios, external requirements, pain points, and challenges • Collaborate with customers to address shortcomings of the current state • Use Mirantis products and experience to transform existing landscapes into coherent, stable, secure, and future-proof platforms • Provide defensible reasoning for architectural recommendations • Become a trusted customer advisor • Work with the Mirantis product team to support further development and eliminate shortcomings • Present architectures, roadmaps, and rationale to customer executives and hands-on engineers • Engage on-site with customers across regions during discovery, design, and advisory processes

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field • Extensive architecture and engineering experience across infrastructure or platform engineering • Customer-facing architecture or advisory experience • Ability to think holistically about the enterprise and connect technology decisions to business goals • Broad fluency across private cloud platforms, including OpenStack • Knowledge of Kubernetes-based container platforms • Understanding of multi-cluster management concepts and tooling • Understanding of workload requirements • Understanding of vSphere/VMware environments, virtualization strategy, and migration paths toward open platforms • Knowledge of bare-metal provisioning, physical infrastructure lifecycle, and data center concepts • Understanding of cloud or container platform components and how they fit together • Subject matter expertise in at least one area, such as networking • Strong solution orientation • Experience with at least one programming language, such as Python or Go • Strong written and spoken communication skills for business and technical audiences • Ability and willingness to travel, primarily within the EU and US • English required; additional European language skills are nice to have
