Beschreibung

• Lead the architecture and evolution of core platform systems. Define and drive the technical direction of our container orchestration, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD platforms to meet the long-term needs of the business • Own cross-team technical strategy. Identify high-leverage investments, align stakeholders, and execute on initiatives that span multiple teams and products • Build and evolve shared platform abstractions. Create scalable, well-designed interfaces and tooling that enable product teams to move faster • Drive improvements to engineering processes. Lead the definition and rollout of practices that improve reliability, efficiency, and scalability (e.g., deployment strategies, incident response, architecture reviews) • Shape and prioritize technical investments. Define and advocate for infrastructure and technical debt initiatives across teams, aligning them with product and architectural goals • Debug and resolve complex production issues. Provide leadership during incidents and tackle the most challenging problems across the full infrastructure stack • Mentor and influence engineers across the organization. Raise the bar for technical decision-making, design quality, and operational excellence

🎯 Anforderungen

• Proven track record of designing and evolving large-scale, business-critical infrastructure systems, particularly Kubernetes platforms • Strong ability to operate at a systems and architectural level, making decisions that impact multiple teams and long-term business direction • Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD systems • Strong software engineering skills (preferably in the Go ecosystem) for building reliable and maintainable systems • Deep knowledge of networking and systems fundamentals (TCP/UDP, HTTP, TLS, DNS, Linux) • Demonstrated ability to lead ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives and drive them to successful outcomes • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence both engineers and engineering leadership
