Beschreibung

• Build and lead the team designing, delivering, and operating domain data products and AI-enabled analytical solutions on Natera Data Platform • Lead cross-functional data products, analytics experiences, and Golden KPIs • Create an operating model using embedded data and AI engineers within business domains • Track and report delivery KPIs, including time-to-delivery, certified dataset count, adoption, and production incidents • Define and enforce publishing standards for analytics products • Establish headless data product standards and build reusable golden paths • Drive agentic data engineering, AI-assisted development, automated testing, and AI-enabled code review and documentation • Train engineers to work AI-natively and improve productivity by 3–5x • Enforce CI/CD, infrastructure as code, data observability, and data quality standards • Implement automated drift detection, root-cause identification, and human-in-the-loop recovery • Ensure HIPAA, RAQA, and data classification compliance • Own the NDP contribution and discovery model and enable self-service data consumption • Partner with the Data Governance Lead on data contracts, certification review, and access policies • Hire, coach, and develop data and analytics engineers • Review architecture and code, debug production failures, and set technical standards across Snowflake, AWS, Claude, Sigma, dbt, Fivetran, Python, and Airflow • Translate business needs into scoped commitments and communicate changes to stakeholders

🎯 Anforderungen

• 10+ years in data engineering • 5+ years leading data or analytics engineering teams at Director level • Hands-on Python and SQL experience • Ability to critique dbt models, debug pipeline failures, and make architecture decisions • Experience shipping production data products with measurable adoption • Regulated-environment delivery in healthcare, life sciences, diagnostics, or pharma • Real PHI and HIPAA compliance experience • Experience with Snowflake, AWS, Claude, dbt, Fivetran, Sigma, and Airflow or Dagster • CI/CD for data pipelines and infrastructure as code • Working knowledge of data mesh and headless, domain-owned data products • Experience leading teams using AI-assisted development in production • Experience defining engineering standards, golden paths, or operating models across multiple teams or domains • Strong stakeholder, technical writing, and executive communication skills
