Beschreibung

• Improve overall engineering quality through documentation, technical guidance, mentoring, and engineering best practices • Lead significant migration efforts • Work with government stakeholders to gain buy-in for technical initiatives • Collaborate with product teams, government stakeholders, and other contractors to build new systems and improve existing systems • Write code and perform code reviews • Write and review technical specifications • Identify and mitigate technical risks with cross-functional product teams • Guide engineering planning, estimation, prioritization, trade-offs, technical debt, and project milestones • Review architecture and designs from other project teams • Design technical roadmaps • Propose and enforce technical architecture • Maintain production systems • Handle on-call duties and systematically debug and resolve issues • Work on business development bids • Participate in client stakeholder meetings related to growth • Strategize with leadership on project growth • Attend conferences and network with potential clients • Review strategy plans and outline technical requirements for potential work

🎯 Anforderungen

• At least 10 years of experience working in an agile, multidisciplinary team environment • Experience designing and building medium- to large-scale systems on cloud platforms • Experience designing and implementing production-grade, cloud-native microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot • Experience with containerized deployment patterns • Experience with relational databases, preferably Postgres • Experience using JDBC and ORM mappers such as Hibernate • Experience with DevOps, preferably Jenkins CI/CD • Experience using AWS cloud-native services and data engineering • Tenacity to dive into problems and iterate on working code • Highly resourceful, reliable, and detail-oriented • Ability to think strategically about trade-offs and short-term versus long-term benefits • Adaptive, empathetic, collaborative, and positive mindset • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Prior experience working with stakeholders • Legal authorization to work in the United States • Ability to meet requirements for applicable government contracts • Work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship now or in the future • May be subject to a government background check or security clearance, depending on the contract • Must reside in one of the listed eligible states and work from the contiguous United States
