Beschreibung

• Support the InfoSec team in delivering security and accreditation objectives • Work with architecture, technology teams and the Data Protection Officer to create, update and enforce security processes, procedures and policies • Produce security assurance documentation required for customer accreditation with Security Architects • Support the accreditation programme by arranging security testing, producing remediation plans and driving vulnerability remediation to completion • Provide written contributions to procurement bids and customer security questionnaires • Describe technical and procedural controls protecting the network and customer data, and demonstrate compliance with industry standards • Support the InfoSec team in responding to security incidents, ensuring swift closure and action • Conduct detailed root cause analysis and capture lessons learned • Issue security advice and guidance to the wider business • Develop content with team members for internal team use and wider-business publication • Provide consistent and qualified responses to customer tenders and assurance questionnaires • Ensure compliance with security standards, service management procedures, regulations and industry best practices • Contribute to process documentation and policy reviews • Conduct security assessments and audits across people, process and technology • Assist with security incident management and vulnerability management • Report to the Cyber Assurance Manager and collaborate with Security Analysts, Security Engineers, Security Managers, Security Architects and the Data Protection Officer

🎯 Anforderungen

• Proven experience working in an IT security role • Demonstrable experience in an IT role, with a strong understanding of security concepts/fundamentals • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations • Good understanding of risk management, with awareness that context is key • Experience writing comprehensive responses to security questionnaires or bids • Strong focus on business outcomes • Strong and demonstrated team working experience • High degree of personal motivation and ability to self-manage • Ability to communicate security and technical solutions to non-technical or security resources internally and externally to NEC • Comfortable with collaboration, open communication and reaching across a range of functions and teams • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Pre-employment Baseline Standard and Disclosure Scotland (BPSS) checks • Must be able to achieve and maintain NPPV L3+SC clearance • Must be security cleared, or able to gain clearance, to Non-Police Personnel Vetting Level 3 (NPPV)+SC • Pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK • Documentary evidence of right to work and travel within the UK • Satisfactory vetting, references and occupational health checks • Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check may be required depending on the role • Desirable: experience delivering pragmatic security assurance documentation aligned to varying degrees of risk appetite • Desirable: exposure to security testing processes and reports such as penetration testing • Desirable: experience working within a shared environment with multiple tenants and requirements • Desirable: experience working on solutions or projects requiring formal independent accreditations • Desirable: working knowledge of Cyber Essentials Plus
