Beschreibung

• Define and maintain product strategy aligned with organisational objectives • Develop, own and communicate product roadmaps and customer-facing collateral • Align customer needs, market trends and technical capabilities • Translate strategy into commercially sound product backlogs and requirements • Maximise revenue opportunities through product modularity and upselling capabilities • Develop marketing strategies with the Public Safety marketing team • Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions • Prioritise features based on value, risk and opportunity • Track delivery progress and agreed milestones • Support product launches and releases • Manage the product lifecycle and communicate it to the company and customers • Research competitors, products and market trends • Lead pre-sales activities and engage customers to understand needs and support sales opportunities • Gather and analyse feedback, usage data and market trends • Support user groups, customer workshops, masterclasses and early sales-opportunity engagement • Identify product enhancements and revenue-growth opportunities • Incorporate emerging technologies, including AI where relevant • Develop business cases and present proposals to governance forums • Build relationships across NEC Software Solutions to support joined-up products • Collaborate with Engineering/Development, Sales/Pre-Sales, Customer Success and Marketing • Communicate product updates, priorities and performance • Support sales with product expertise and value propositions • Monitor product performance using KPIs • Contribute to monthly reporting on roadmap progress, customer engagement, product health and risks • Maintain product documentation and collateral

🎯 Anforderungen

• Degree or equivalent in a business or technical discipline • Proven track record in Product Management in technology industries • Desirable: track record of working in the Public Safety sector with proven ability to deliver technical solutions • Ability to engage customers, technical people, partners and colleagues in furthering product strategy and delivery • Strong product insight to inform direction and prioritisation • Commercial acumen, including accurate return on investment calculations • Excellent research skills covering competitors, markets, customers and requirements • Strong decision-making ability • Applicants must have lived in the UK for 5 consecutive years or more • Pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK • Must currently hold SC-level national security vetting or higher, NPPV Level 3, or be able to gain Enhanced Security Clearance • Satisfactory vetting, references and occupational health checks; DBS check may also be required depending on the role
