Beschreibung

• Take ownership of cloud infrastructure from provisioning through to day-to-day operations • Work closely with the Solutions Architect on significant infrastructure changes • Use Infrastructure as Code as the default and maintain and improve the infrastructure setup • Keep CI/CD pipelines fast and reliable • Investigate and properly fix pipeline failures and slowdowns • Monitor environments for performance, uptime, and resource usage • Respond to and troubleshoot operational issues • Research industry developments and propose better ways of working • Bring ideas, run spikes, and make the case for improvements • Work closely with wider teams to understand needs and provide DevOps solutions • Contribute to secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions across major national public-sector programmes

🎯 Anforderungen

• Several years running cloud infrastructure in production on AWS • Experience with Azure is a bonus • Knowledge of Terraform beyond the basics; Teragrunt is a bonus • Experience managing complex estates, writing reusable modules, and working across multiple environments • Hands-on production experience with Kubernetes and ArgoCD • Ability to write Python or Bash for automation • Experience creating CI/CD pipelines; CircleCI is a bonus • Understanding of security considerations and deployment risk • SC eligibility required • Pre-existing right to work and travel within the EU; documentary evidence required • Satisfactory vetting and reference checks required • A Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check may be required depending on the role
